I have not forgotten the blog but simply have not chosen it to be part of my normal writing activity. I find myself wanting to be less polarizing. Less confrontational. Less of an agitator and more of someone that lets things go. Now that does not happen with everything. I am still a grump with my kids and wife unfortunately. I have tried to spend less time watching the news and even sports because of the aggression that is caused by it. In fact, because of the political climate it feels like a person does not dare say anything unless they want to be ostracized and ridiculed. There is such a need for peace in this world that I feel just like everything I have done has been for naught. Just all of this is me venting. I not even sure I will publish this, but it is so troubling that the world has slipped into such a disarray of hatred and haters. Has the golden rule been lost? Has the Greatest Commandment been dismantled? I am not so sure anymore.
So, my energy has been placed in my fiction. Thankfully that after 21 years of preaching I have a little bit of material to rework. My fiction has been giving me some renewed energy to write. If something comes of it, that is to be seen. however it is still something that provides some creative energy to flow.
